Services
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy service provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. Using manual therapy techniques combined with tailored exercise programs, we address sports injuries, back pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Each 45-minute session includes detailed assessment, hands-on treatment for pain relief, and functional rehabilitation to restore mobility. Clients receive home exercise plans to maintain progress between sessions.
Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates sessions focus on core stability, posture correction, and muscle retraining for injury prevention. Led by APPI-certified instructor Gemma Kennedy, classes use evidence-based methods to address muscle imbalances from sports or sedentary work. Both one-to-one and group options are available at our Ben Rhydding clinic and local church halls.
Sports Injuries
Specialist treatment for sports-related injuries including joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, and kinesio-taping. We develop sport-specific rehabilitation programs to ensure safe return to activity. Our approach combines acute injury management with long-term prevention strategies through biomechanical assessment and corrective exercises.
Postural Re-education
This service addresses chronic pain from poor posture through targeted interventions. We identify muscular imbalances caused by desk work or repetitive movements, then implement corrective exercises and manual therapy. Education on ergonomic adjustments forms part of our holistic approach to posture improvement and pain prevention.
Home Visits
Home visit services provide convenient access to physiotherapy treatment for those with mobility challenges. We conduct full assessments and deliver hands-on therapy in your home environment. This service is particularly beneficial for post-surgical patients or individuals requiring ongoing rehabilitation support.

Sep 18, 2020 Report
Too many lockdown projects over the last few weeks left me struggling with what I thought was a problem with my hip. I saw Gemma for my first appointment a couple of weeks ago who quickly diagnosed (to my relief) a disc bulge at the bottom of my spine that had flared up from a past injury. Gemma is very skilled and super professional and three physio sessions in, my pain is starting to ease. I couldn't recommend her treatment and advice highly enough. Thank you Gemma!
