Tithe Green

We are a family-run team specialising in the arrangement of natural burials across the East Midlands and North East of England. Our operational focus centres on providing compassionate, expert guidance to individuals exploring end-of-life options that align with environmental values. We have cultivated four distinct, carefully managed natural burial sites located in Nottingham, Leicester, Peterborough and County Durham. Our team possesses extensive specialised knowledge of natural burial practices, including the use of exclusively natural, biodegradable materials free from plastic, concrete and harmful chemicals. We offer four tailored natural burial options to meet diverse client needs, ranging from full natural burials to memorial tree planting without interment. We are committed to maintaining the biodiverse, wildlife-rich habitats of our burial sites, ensuring they remain uplifting, accessible spaces for all visitors.

Our sites are open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, allowing unrestricted access for reflection, visitation and connection with nature. We provide full transparency around all our service offerings and pricing, ensuring clients have clear, accurate information to make informed decisions. Every memorial tree we plant is accompanied by a bespoke Welsh slate plaque, allowing for personalised, lasting tributes to loved ones. We prioritise client satisfaction at every stage of the process, offering ongoing support and answering all queries with care and expertise. Our work is driven by a core mission to help people make a positive, lasting environmental impact as part of their end-of-life arrangements.
