Acorns Nursery School has been Cirencester's premiere nursery school since 1952. We, Miles and Helen Guerrini, took over this great, unique nursery in 2005 and have been developing it ever since. Acorns is located in the centre of the old market town, in a beautiful Georgian home and 17th century Coach house, and so our three spacious but secluded gardens often come as a surprise to visitors.
Promoting outdoor learning is at the forefront of our thinking so each age group enjoys a free flow system into age specific, outdoor, patio classrooms. Our mission is to provide the very best early years education possible and are glad that our own children have benefited from this too. Acorns Nursery
Report
Children from 3-15 months are accommodated in Baby Acorns. This is an 17th century Coach House which is surrounded by three gardens including the Acorns main garden. The children have two large and airy oak beamed rooms to play in and easy access to the outside areas. In addition, there is a separate sleep room for our cots which is homely, calm and quiet.
Mighty Oaks

Our holiday club is based at our brand new setting, The Clubhouse where we have beautiful outside space, massive inside spaces across 4 rooms loaded with resources. BookTheChildcare.com is the online booking system developed by us for you so that you are in complete control of your breakfast, after school and holiday club childcare needs.

Acorns is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Miles and Helen Guerrini, who met at Cambridge University whilst qualifying as teachers. Since then, they have made it their vocation to provide the best possible education and care for young children. Helen has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Diploma in Primary Educatation.

All children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. The four guiding principles of this are: The Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development.
