After a long and chequered history, The Bonded Warehouse is now a building serving the community for a wide range of functions and is available for hire for Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, Corporate Training and Evening Activity Clubs.
The 3 storey Warehouse with its unusual semi circular end, and with the earliest parts of the building dating from 1799 is situated in a lovely setting alongside the Stourbridge Town Arm Canal where a number of narrowboats are permanently moored.Hirers please note there is no wheelchair access to the upper floors.

Report
The Stourbridge Navigation Trust Committee is comprised of willing and able volunteers of a variety of ages, sex, experience and skills but with one thing in common and that is to 'look after' the Bonded Warehouse and the Stourbridge Town Arm to the very best of their ability.
I'm David Caunt, In 1983, as Mayor of Dudley, I attended the very first Open Weekend, the chauffeur collecting us from our boat at Stourbridge and taking us to Coalbourne Brook Bridge for a boat ride back to the Bonded Warehouse.

A Symphony for the Senses
Report
I was recently musing over a few old photographs taken in the vicinity of the Bonded Warehouse and especially one of a goods engine running on the opposite side of the canal towards the old goods yard - canals and railways in perfect harmony. I thought it might be worthwhile and of interest to our followers to compile a pictorial and historically factual article for the Trust's website about the area.
Towing Path Permit – Historic Records
Report
We were delighted to receive a new addition to our historical archive the other day, courtesy of Derek Gittins, a long time canal campaigner and one of the founder members of Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust and author of many of their leaflets and books. It is understood that having retired from the Trust he has set about having a tidy up at home and is discovering all sorts of things!
The Story of Joyner’s Wharf
Report
Research undertaken by Amblecote History Society uncovered some potentially interesting material for further investigation into the background context behind the paper records - I was attracted to some photographs of what I guessed was the original inauguration of Joyner's Wharf - talking to colleagues down at the Bonded Warehouse has enable some meat to be placed on the bones.
Stourbridge Canal – Town Wharf c1920
Report
We are grateful to the Amblecote History Society for finding a few remaining copies of this artwork - they were doing some historical research into the records archive at the Bonded Warehouse and came across a number of the limited edition prints, one of which, somewhat forgotten and faded by sunlight, still adorns the wall in the Stourbridge Navigation Trust Board room.
