Our Daughter, Son in Law and Granddaughter were visiting from Canada for the Christmas perio and we went to the Wodman for a meal, what a fabulous experience,great place amazing food and all the staff were kind, friendly and very courteous

Food was excellent. Good flavour and decenct size portions. Service was excellent and friendly. Had the Scallops for starter and Turbot for main. Absolutely lovely. The Brioche Butter pudding sounded good but was full. Must remember not to have lunch next time so I can treat myself to 3 courses.

On the surface this looks like a very trendy high class country pub/hotel/restaurant. Sadly under the surface it does not follow through. The food was underwhelming and over priced and the rooms need a good clean and checking by management. The staff were very good and tried constantly to resolve any issues. There was confusion at breakfast as people were turning up an hour before it was actually being served. The breakfast when served was covered in ground pepper and not to everyones taste and the quality was not good

We had our Wedding at the Woodman in September and it was the most magical day we could ever have dreamed of! Nothing was too much for the fantastic team, who made sure everything was perfect for us throughout and out our nerves at ease! The fantastic Jordan helped us out through two postponements and made sure we got the most us wedding we possibly could. Id absolutely recommend the Woodman to any couple looking for a beautiful woodland wedding venue and a team that is so good at what they do

Out of this world accommodation. Food amazing staff well trained and helpful. The full English breakfast will take some beating. Warm cosy lounge log fires in a beautiful old building ..would highly recommend and will be going back .
