Havering Museum

Havering Museum, established in May 2010, is a volunteer-led institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of the London Borough of Havering. Our mission is to educate and engage the public through immersive exhibitions, educational programs, and community-driven initiatives. The museum was founded through the efforts of local historians and librarians, supported by a Heritage Lottery Grant, and continues to thrive as a hub for cultural heritage. Located in the historic Romford Brewery building, we offer fully accessible galleries, temporary exhibitions, and a learning zone designed to foster appreciation for local history. Our team of dedicated volunteers ensures that the stories of Haverings past are preserved for future generations, with a focus on community involvement and educational outreach.
