We have just stayed over night for our nieces wedding ,my husband is in a wheelchair (we booked a disable bedroom) but it was virtually impossible to get around at the wedding because of all the steps,had it not been for my husbands brother and our sons at the evening do I don't know how we could have coped ,perhaps some ramps would help ,I do appreciate it is a old building but I also think that in todays age something could be done to make life easier. Having said all that the wedding was fab the bedroom good .

My son and daughter-in-law got married here on 22 December. Very stressful build up to wedding with Covid lockdown hanging over us. Holdsworth House were amazing. The staff from Reception, bar staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping were all fabulous very courteous and helpful (couldn't do enough for you). The whole day ran like clockwork with no stress on the wedding party. Food was delicious. Rooms very clean and decorated lovely (website photographs don't do them justice). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a Wedding Venue or just a lovely weekend away. Well done to everyone at Holdsworth

Absolutely loved staying here and ate the best vegan food I've ever had in the restaurant (while my partner enjoyed apparently fabulous fillet steak!)

My daughter, friends and I went to Holdsworth House this afternoon for afternoon tea. It was lovely. I have one criticism. We were a group of eight but Holdsworth House wouldn't put us all round the same table. We are sure they could have put two tables together if they had wanted to.

Such a beautiful place. Jo and I brought the boys for an evening meal, to show them where we got married in August 2005. It was special then as it was this evening.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here, beautiful setting was next to the roaring fire. Service fantastic the waitress couldn't do enough for us. Already purchased snother voucher to enjoy next year.
