Our guests are housed in unique, large, fully insulated chalets, with space outside for play time. All Cats are treated as individuals, and we try and accommodate all their special needs. The Firs is a home from home where we will care for and pamper your special companions as if they were our own.
The Firs Luxury Boarding Cattery has been established for over 16 years, and Nicola Quadling is the proud owner of this unique Cattery in Walesby, North Nottinghamshire. Nicola has had a range of experience with all types of animals since an incredibly young age. Cats and dogs in particular have played the biggest part of her life but she has also shared her heart with rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, tortoises, budgies and fish!

We want to give your cat the best holiday while you have yours. Our standards around the cattery are high and we pride ourselves on the quality services that we can provide for you and your cat. You can leave your feline friend at our cattery knowing that both the cattery and your cat are fully insured.
Comfort

Here at The Firs we believe that your special feline friend deserves the best comfort and they get this no matter what time of year or how long or short their stay is. We have different types of Chalets to suit the age, personality and number of cats (our largest Chalet can house up to six cats). All of our Chalets are much bigger than regulation standard sizes, so your cat will have plenty of room to relax while on their holiday.
What’s on the menu

We have an extensive range of food for your cat, so we can maintain your cat's diet whilst they are away from home. If they are on a prescription, special diet or breed specific food, please bring this with them. We are sorry but we are unable to accept food dishes from home, this is to avoid damage, breakages or injury.
Your cat’s health
Report
It is important that your cat is fully vaccinated, and we are required to have proof of this due to licensing laws. When you bring your cat to stay you must bring their vaccination card with them and this is required to be with us for the duration of their stay. These cards hold your personal information and under GDPR we keep them locked away.
Pricing
Report
We charge per day no matter what time your cat arrives; this ensures that the Chalet has been fully disinfected and set up ready for your cat's arrival. We have a minimum stay fee of 30.00, so if you need your cat to stay for 1 night only, which would be for two days this fee would be charged. Please note that in the event of owners returning before the end of the boarding period booked, the total cost of the period booked will be charged.
