The aim of the care team is to promote a sense of well-being and to maintain the social skills of the residents for as long as possible. On the ground floor residents may read, watch television or pursue the other recreational activities in the three Reception rooms. Victoria House Care Home Ltd is situated on Poulton-le-Fylde only five miles from the Fylde Coast.
The house is in the heart of the town centre and all amenities. The Railway Station is two minutes away, all local buses, shops, post office, supermarkets and other facilities are on the doorstep. Formerly a Doctor's surgery, the house has been carefully extended and converted by the owner to provide ten single and two double rooms.

The spacious dining room is pleasantly situated off the main foyer and retains all of its original charm. All bedrooms are centrally heated and have a television, wash hand basin and emergency facilities installed for the comfort of residents.

Various methods are used to stimulate residents physically and mentally, utilising the five senses: touch, taste, smell, sight and hearing. A list of some of the activities is shown on the next page.
