We are based in the West Midlands, ideally placed to collect and deliver UK wide. Our fleet of 30 vehicles ranges from 3.5T and 7.5T flat beds and curtain siders through to 66T crane lorries (hiabs) with up to 100 ton metre lift.
The team in our on site workshop safely keeps our trucks reliably on the road. We are experienced in handling a wide variety of loads and site requirements from hot tubs, roof trusses and beams to glazing, generators and even planes and trains! We have qualified slinger / signallers and Appointed Person for specific site surveys.

Over 100 years ago Salvatore and Asunda Porretta founded their business making delicious ice cream in the summer and delivering coal in the winter. They had a tremendous work ethic which has continued uninterrupted down the family line through Frank and Les and on to Steve and Pru, as well as Maria, Therese and Sam.

Hiring a hiab / crane lorry represents great value for money when goods need transporting and lifting. We make it easy to get your load to the right place on time with reliable vehicles and skilled drivers and crane operators. We offer half day and full day hire. We have Appointed Person site specific survey / lift plan available as well as slinger / signaller.

In lifting operations, an Appointed Person is the person responsible for the execution and safety of a lifting operation. Although tasks may be delegated to others, it is the Appointed Person who retains the responsibility of the operation. The role is a very responsible one as the Appointed Person must have good working knowledge of lifting operations and safe working.
ADR Hazardous Goods

We are experienced in handling and transporting dangerous goods in classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. Refer to table. We comply with The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009. Amongst other things we have transported diesel tanks (not tankers), flammable liquids, lithium batteries and building additives such as concrete plasticiser.
