A pleasure to have an afternoon tea where there is a good selection not only of cakes but sandwiches too. We'll presented staff friendly and pleasant.

Good accomodation, good food and attentive staff. Excellent Walk-in shower in Room 44. Room in phone did not seem to have dial tone which was reported but not believed to have been fixed. Also Power sockets on dressing table were extremely difficult to use as they were mounted too low down on wooden back plate causing great strain on conventional leads and on the sockets themselves

Good points - the staff were polite, very accommodating and helpful, food was good
Bad points - my room No 75 was in a terrible state, I was staying for 2 days and I just didn't want to go back to my room at night. The bathroom was in an awful state, mould, worn, damaged, wardrobe didn't close, desk damaged, etc. Hit my head on the wardrobe, slipped out of the bath as no none slip sheet fitted on bath. I feel sorry for anybody having to stay in this room.
Looks like there is a process to update the rooms, unfortunately this room should be not used anymore as it's unsafe
