Amy, with experience renovating historic properties and running a catering business, brings her passion for hospitality to this family-run enterprise. The property features three Gold Award-winning self-catering cottages nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our working farm houses Shire horses, rare-breed livestock, and poultry, while providing fresh eggs and Soay lamb to guests.

What a wonderful place to get some R&R. It was immaculate, comfortable with beautiful gardens and great hosts, they have mastered the "little touches" to make the stay perfect.

Here for a week arriving yesterday, delighted with our cottage, there are 3 all together on a farm amongst such beautiful and peaceful countryside. Tastefully furnished and presented to a luxury standard our cottage is so cosy and we have everything that we need for a perfect stay.
Sam and Chris are delightful so welcoming and helpful. Their meat, including bacon sausages and eggs are available for purchase. The gardens are colourful spacious and peaceful.

Recently bought rare breed pork from Sam at Middle farm,The pork was delicious and a little booklet was very helpful with cooking instructions,i followed and got perfect crackling and succulent meat on a leg,will definitely be buying more.

This is an excellent place to stay for a base, or a peaceful retreat or, even for young families. The accomodation is excellent. There is a great play barn with balls, table tennis, trampoline and a sand pit with some creative ideas for further development. The added extras make this an easy stay too with a place to do laundry (soaps inc.), teas/coffees and even a cake, BBQ sites and animals to see too. Brilliant place and such a friendly welcome.

The welcome by Sam and Chris was so warm and genuine. Everything one needed was provides. We had such a fantastic time we cant wait to go back next year. And believe me the meat, eggs and salad available are out of this world. The peace and calm helped me enormously.
