Hi, I am Lauren and for the last 3 years, I have been specialising in newborn baby, family and first birthday photography. My boutique studio, Lauren Shaw Photography, is in Dalry, North Ayrshire and designed to offer a warm, welcoming environment to your baby and the rest of your family. As a dog mummy myself, I like to welcome the whole family to be featured in your portraits.

The best time to photograph a newborn is when they are between 5 and 21 days old, and naturally settle into those sleepy, curly poses we all love. Your newborn photography session takes approximately 3 hours and is completely baby led, so we allow for plenty of time for breaks, feeding and snuggles.

Lauren is fantastic! Brilliant photographer and makes you feel very relaxed during the shoot. Lauren was great with us and our young son during his cake smash and also at mine and my wife's wedding and I wouldn't pick anyone else for any future shoots. We loved our time there. Lauren Shaw is definitely worth a visit, worth the money and time.

Absolutely delighted with Lauren's pictures that she done for us! From doing bump to baby, the photos she done for my maternity shoot were stunning and they are ones I will treasure forever we then had our newborn shoot and she was brilliant especially since my little one wasn't for playing but Lauren was very patient and got us some fantastic photos!

A Session fee is required at the time of booking. This covers full use of my studio including photographic equipment, backgrounds, large prop and outfit collections, time and talent of BA Degree photographer and post production of images. The setup and bespoke cake is included for 1st Birthday Shoots.
