I'm Julie Broadfoot, a freelance professional photographer based in Glasgow. Most of my shoots are in Scotland but I am available for work across the UK and worldwide. I rarely face a camera and feel a bit lost without mine in my hand. I take natural, relaxed, authentic portraits that flatter. I don't believe in Photoshop fakery.

I shoot natural, relaxed, authentic headshots, portraits and profile pictures that you'll love to show off. No awkward positions, cheesy poses, filters or nasty airbrushing. You'll have great, flattering images for professional or personal use, whether you're revamping your website and personal branding images, enhancing your social media, selling a book, boosting your online dating presence or updating your acting portfolio.
Animals

I capture natural, characterful pictures of animals, showing their true personalities in their familiar environments. I would spend all my time with animals if I could. I've a strong connection with them and I'm very good at coaxing nervous creatures out of hiding. They love me and I love them. And, by extension, my camera loves them.

I capture stills for press and publicity - a mix of live action photos during camera rehearsals or on air performances, set-up press shots with talent, candid audience reactions, and active backstage moments. Just tell me what you're working on and we can plan how to promote your production. I'm at home in a broadcast environment and I'm exceptionally good at avoiding cables, crews and cameras!
