The first Days Garage was established in 1957 in Merle Common, Oxted by Mr John Day. Back in the day, this garage, the first of the four Days Garages, could be found repairing horse driven carts, but everything everything quickly moved on to servicing and repairing motor vehicles. In 1976, Ivor Stamp took the business over.
