We are an independent veterinary practice based in the small market town of Dromore, Co. Down that provides quality and compassionate veterinary care. Barry is our principal vet and owner of the practice. He is no stranger to Dromore having worked and lived in the town for over 10 years. He is originally from East Donegal and the Dromore area is home from home.
It was while growing up on his uncle's dairy farm that he developed his interest and passion for all things four legged. After graduating from Glasgow Vet School in 2007, he spent a number of years practising in Ayrshire and Maghera before moving to Dromore. During his 13 years in practice he has developed considerable skills and is currently studying a post graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Vaccinations
Report
Our pets are at the centre of our home and family life and just like any other family member their health and well-being is important. To safeguard your pet from potentially serious and sometimes fatal diseases we recommend our preventative healthcare club for every pet in which you'll find vaccinations are an integral part.
Diagnostic and Surgical procedures
Report
Routine diagnostic and surgical procedures are carried out every day. The array of procedures that we offer in our clinic is reflective of our up to date facilities. The animals are usually admitted first thing in the morning and sent home late afternoon. During the admission of your pet you will be fully briefed on the procedure involved and what is required at home afterwards.
Neutering
Report
Sadly in Northern Ireland there are lots of unwanted pets and finding these animals' homes can be difficult. Unfortunately for many suitable homes cannot be found and this is why we recommend neutering young animals just as they reach sexual maturity. Neutering is a term used to describe the castration of males and the spaying of female pets.
