Richard has been working at Iveagh vets in Banbridge for 35 years. His father John Huey and Hercules Jordan were the original founders of the practice in the 1960's. Richard enjoys routine farm work and small animal surgery, and despite his wealth of experience he still finds nothing more fun than a successful lambing or delivering a litter of pups by C-section.
About Us

The practice was founded in 1946 by Hercules Jordon in a small premises on Bridge street in Banbridge. In 1958 John Huey joined the practice and became a partner in 1959. The practice moved to larger premises in Rathfriland street and in 1978 Hercules Jordan retired from the veterinary profession. In 1985 John's son Richard Huey joined and the practice continued to grow and develop.
