The Mount, as the name suggests, stands on the mount at the end of the village of Stanton, near Broadway. It is one of the prettiest & idyllic unspoilt villages in the Cotswolds with its ancient houses built from the honey coloured limestone quarried from Shenberrow Hill above the pub.

Special praise to Donnington, which actually beats the bargain prices of pubs brewing their own beer. Donnington, based at a picturesque ancient watermill, operates in Gloucestershire, not a particularly cheap area, and has some delightful pubs - no less than ten of them in this edition, including two splendid main entries.

With the beautiful villages of Broadway, Winchcombe and Stanton itself, there are many great places to explore. Below you will find a small selection of the great activities on offer in the area such as walking and horse riding you can even play boules, darts and dominoes at the pub!

Our chefs are professionally trained with experience working in some of the finest establishments to the highest of standards. We are very proud of our food. We have plenty of room for events and functions, with a traditional beer garden at the front and an open space behind the pub. We also have plenty of parking!
