Seymour Vets
We are a small animal practice in Totnes and Preston, first established in 1986. Your pets are our priority and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open seven days a week and offer access to 24-hour emergency care.

We also offer free parking for clients at the practice. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

About us
Report
Seymour Vets was started in 2006 by Richard Mitchell, Huw Peplow and Matthew Gopal. It was previously known as Munnings, Mitchell and Peplow, which was established in the mid-eighties by Nicholas Munnings. Having outgrown our previous premises at Seymour Cottage we moved to the Old Smugglers Inn in 2011.
Meet the team
Report
Here at Seymour Vets, we're very proud to have so many dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our services
Report
The veterinary surgeons will see you in the surgery by appointment, which can be made with reception. However, urgent cases can still be seen on the same day. We aim to offer a continuity of care, so where possible your pet can be seen by the veterinary surgeon that has been treating them. We are happy to visit owner's premises and make house calls for all species.
