We're lucky to have fantastic osteopaths at the clinic. Their training involved a minimum 4-year degree course at the University College of Osteopathy encompassing a thorough academic education and over 1000 hours of clinical practice in the student clinic. They are all registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Osteopaths subscribe to the principle that your overall health depends on healthy movement and function of your body. In the same way that a mechanic helps a car to run more smoothly and efficiently, Osteopaths help your body work better so that you can get on with normal life in comfort. We use a combination of movement, stretching, massage and manipulation to improve flexibility, relieve pain and speed recovery from injury.

Osteopathic treatment is wholly appropriate for children and can be incredibly helpful, but it's not what we're specialised to offer at our practice. For children under the age of 12 we recommend The Nunhead Practice. We are registered providers for most major insurers. Please let us know when booking if you will be using using health insurance as it may have a bearing on which of the Osteopaths you should see.
