Having been established in 1793 by Isaac Aldens, we are now an 8th generation family owned and run business, making us one of the oldest family owned traditional butchers in the UK. We're known for having stayed true to our values throughout, by prioritising craft butchery methods, the best produce, excellent value and first class service.

For orders over 60.00, we can offer free delivery to all OX postcodes as well as SN7, HP18, RG9 and NN13. If you are not going to be in or are self-isolating, please leave any delivery requirements in the order notes box. If you are self-isolating, our drivers will ring your bell and place the items where you have requested and will stay the recommended distance away.

Having been established in 1793 by Isaac Aldens, we started out life at Eastwyke Farm in Oxford. Although much has changed since then, with many stories to tell along the way, what we are about will always remain- being passionate about providing great quality meat, service and value to our customers.

As part of the Aldens Butchers family, Aldens Meatmaster started life as a small shop in Oxford's covered markets. Over the past 225 years we have grown in size and reputation, outgrowing our small shop. In 1999, we moved into a state of the art, purpose-built shop in Osney Mead. Being one of the oldest butchers in Oxfordshire, we wanted to retain the traditional butchery methods and the quality of meat and service Aldens is known for.
