We are a caring veterinary practice based in Sunderland with a skilled team of Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Surgeons and support staff led by practice owner and Head Veterinary Surgeon Wendy Rowntree. The practice was founded in 2012 when our team consisted of three members of staff, since then we have grown as a practice from strength to strength - expanding our client base and the services we offer.
We aim to offer top quality care for your pets in a friendly, caring environment. Animal welfare and client satisfaction are our priorities, this is why we have become an integral part of our local community and also provide care to pets from several of Sunderland's animal charities. All NHS staff qualify for a 10% discount at our practice as a thank you for all their hard work.

Services
Services
Report
We have state of the art digital radiography at our practice, this means that we can take and process x-rays in minutes, providing diagnostic quality images, to aid our vets in the treatment of your pets. Endoscopy is the use of a long, flexible tube with a light source and viewer called an endoscope.
Facilities
Report
In addition to our friendly team of qualified staff we offer a wide range of facilities, many of which are not available from other vets in the region. We have three seperate consulation rooms where our surgeons and nurses can assess your pet, give advice and provide routine treatments. This is where we get your pet ready for surgery and has a piped gas supply for anesthetics which also feeds into the X Ray and Op rooms.
Meet The Staff
Report
I graduated from Glasgow University in 2000, I have worked in several practices in the North East and in Scotland since then, although I have worked in Sunderland for more than ten years now, mainly in the Roker area. In 2012 I decided to open my own practice in order to provide my patients with the best possible care and their owners with a quality service.
