Steve started aged 16 as a drivers mate, delivering bridge beams to build the M25 and is still very hands on day to day. Keeping the Transport Team in check for over 30 years, Sarah started aged 18 driving a 7.5 tonner and today is proud to work with a the fantastic team in the office, an experienced crew of drivers and the hardworking lads in the workshops.

In recent years, we have been entrusted to transport some valuable and unique pieces of art. The UK's largest bronze statue was safely transported by Kings from Plymouth Dock to the Theatre Royal, Plymouth at walking pace under Police escort. Messenger cost 450,000 to build and stands at 7m tall and 9m wide.

This service is available for smaller cargos, utilising a range of vans which are ADR / EXII compliant. All our Escort Vehicles are compliant to the code of practice in the UK and our experience team are well trained in the heavy haulage industry and are committed to providing a high quality service.
Kings Gold Model Truck

GOLD Model Truck in its box covered by a 50th Anniversary Celebration 'sleeve' personally signed by the Chairman and Founder Richard King and Managing Director Steve King. Models with certificate number 1, 50 and 100 will be sold for 250. All extra proceeds will go to the NHS and the lucky buyers can send a photo and feature in the 'NEWS' section of our website.
