Ballroom & Latin Classes
Structured courses for all levels from absolute beginners to Gold standard competitors. Weekly classes cover Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, and Jive with progressive skill development. Our 10-week beginner courses and advanced sessions help dancers build confidence and technical proficiency in a social setting.
Wedding Dance Lessons
Personalised tuition for couples preparing for their wedding dance. Instructors create custom choreography matching your chosen music and skill level. Lessons focus on building confidence and creating memorable performances, with flexible scheduling to accommodate preparation timelines.
Children's Dance Classes
Age-specific instruction for children aged 5-16 with progressive medal testing. Classes develop coordination, rhythm, and social skills through fun, structured learning. The curriculum includes 15 dance styles from Samba to Rock 'n' Roll, with performance opportunities at annual events.
Private Dance Lessons

Co-Founder & Lead Instructor
With over 45 years of experience, Keith Kelly established the studio in 1980 after discovering his passion for Ballroom dancing. A fully qualified IDTA and ISTD instructor, he specialises in transforming nervous beginners into confident dancers while maintaining competitive excellence.
Kornelia Kelly
Co-Founder & Senior Instructor
Joining the business in 2008, Kornelia brings expertise in Ballroom, Latin American, and Argentine Tango. A former competitive dancer with classical training in ballet and jazz, she focuses on technical precision and performance preparation for both social and competitive dancers.

What dance styles do you teach?
We specialise in Ballroom, Latin American, Argentine Tango, and Viennese Waltz, with additional instruction in Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Jive, and social dance styles.
Are classes available for complete beginners?
Yes, our 10-week Absolute Beginners courses provide foundational skills for those with no prior dance experience, starting every September at our Hampton venue.
Do you offer wedding dance preparation?
Yes, we provide custom choreography and private tuition for wedding dances, with flexible scheduling and music-specific instruction to ensure memorable performances.
What qualifications do your instructors hold?
Our instructors hold full qualifications from the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).
Are children's dance classes available?
We offer structured children's classes for ages 5-16 with progressive medal testing, including Rosettes for 5-6 year olds and Advanced Medalist training.
Where are your dance venues located?

Outstanding! My partner Liz and I had never been anywhere near formal dancing; we bop and thats it. We had to attend classes at Kellys Dance Studio because of a schools annual ball; the children were being taught by Keith and Kornelia at Kellys but Liz was going to have to dance with her son at the ball, so I went along to Saturday sessions to be her learning partner. We thought it would be dull waltz, foxtrot and cha-cha-cha, and I was particularly not keen. And we loved it. Keith did most of the classes. He is a born teacher. MR KEITH is a lovely person and a great teacher , me and my group do bollywood dancing. He gave us all the support for countless weeks of hiring his wonderful studio. He went out of his way to even have a word in front of my team when they wernt doing so well near the time of competition. My wife, a colleague and myself dropped into Kelly's this evening to enquire about some dance classes. My wife was particularly keen as she had danced in this studio as a 9 year old and her mother had until recently been a regular dancer there with her friends. We are all Hampton Wick locals, so at the outset, everything looked very promising. However, when we started discussing the classes with what appeared to be the manager, we found him extremely rude, aggressive and patronising. He was especially patronising to a 29 year old woman when asking how old she was (as if that was relevant). He then

Danced here for 3 years, Keith the owner has great team of teachers. If you ever fancy learning ballroom I highly recommend this place. They teach kids to adults, all sorts of dance styles taught. You can even go into
competitions. They regularly hold social evenings and club events through out the year too.
