Our self-catering options include traditional thatched roundhouses, modern bungalows, and chalets sleeping 2-7 guests. All properties feature fully-equipped kitchens, comfortable living areas, and proximity to on-site amenities. Many units allow pets with designated dog-friendly facilities.

Our family lounge offers home-cooked meals daily with seasonal menus featuring local ingredients. Diners enjoy classic British dishes, vegetarian options, and special Sunday carvery events. Reservations recommended during peak periods for guaranteed seating.

The modern play area includes equipment for various age groups with adjacent grassed spaces for ball games. Parents can supervise from nearby patio areas while enjoying refreshments from our bar facilities.

Ample car parking available across two designated areas, including main entrance and Lighthouse Field locations. Parking included free of charge for all guests with no additional fees or reservations required.

I am actually on holiday at this place today .. Have had my holiday here for the past 4 years.. Always friendly and the staff go out of their way to help.. The roundhouses are very modern , although I prefer the bungalows although a little old fashioned they are clean comfortable and excellent value .. Many thanks to Hermanus staff for my great holidays and will continue to holiday here .. yes would recommend

The round houses look delightful and are reached by a steep hill between a bungalow and a wall, so can easily miss the entrance. I can't comment on staying in them as l was only passing. The booking office only had one person in and hall seemed closed. Lovely views from the roundhouse over the sand dunes and beach. Not suitable for disabled.

I've stayed now for 3 holidays and love it. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the walk over the dunes to the beach is great. Absolutely recommended.

If you are looking for a lovely coastal retreat then come and stay in the little round houses. They also have chalets which accommodate larger families. Beautiful sand dunes leading on the stunning beach.
