Bellefontaines' Jewellers
Dennis' son, Gary Dieu de Bellefontaine, and his wife Mary are currently directors of the business. As we look to the future, Bellefontaines' are now proud to present the third generation of Bellefontaines, Michael, William and Henry. They are currently being trained as they work within the shop.

If for any reason they are unable to answer all of your questions, please do not hesitate to ask to see Mary and she will be very happy to advise you personally. We carry out watch and clock repairs, valuations, jewellery repairs and manufacture. The vast majority of our repair work is carried out on-site in our workshops.

Michel Herbelin Watches
Report
Similar to us Michel Herbelin was established in 1947, when Michel Herbelin was 26, over 70 years later Michel Herbelin is now run by his two Grandsons Maxime & Matthieu Herbelin. Gary is very particular about what watch brands we stock and he has always been impressed by the quality and craftmanship of Michel Herbelin watches.
The Family
Report
Gary started coming into the shop with his father Dennis when he was just 13 years old. More years than he'd like to admit later he is an Omega Qualified watch maker as well as a jeweller of over 50 years. Over the years people have brought in all sorts of items for Gary to fix, from the everyday items such as rings, watches and clocks to the more unusual things such as music boxes, glasses and small metal figurines!

Below is the Hallmarking notice. This is to help you understand what your hallmark means. There are some exceptions to this rule which are stated in the table below. Hallmarking is when a sponsor sends an item to an Assay Office to be Assayed. A sponsor isn't necessarily the manufacturer of the item.
