Puddleducks Pre-school Salisbury is located in an idyllic woodland setting based in the grounds of Harnham Infant School. It provides excellent care and education in a rich and stimulating environment for children aged 2-5 years. Puddleducks is passionate about delivering excellent standards of care and early education for our children offering a unique environment, which supports the children's learning and development both indoors and out.
Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff team are well qualified and ably supported by the Manager. All aspects of our curriculum and approach to learning are designed to develop self-esteem and independence, enabling children to take their place in society as happy, confident individuals. We always remember that every child is an individual and this uniqueness is at the heart of everything we do at Puddleducks.

I am honoured and very privileged to be the Owner and Manager of Puddleducks. After managing the setting as a committee run charity for 4.5 years, when the committee struggled to recruit new members and was in need of change, I made the decision to offer to buy the business. I have over 16 years experience working in Early Years.

Puddleducks Pre-school provides an environment in which all children are included, valued and supported to reach their potential, regardless of religion, social or economic background, gender, disability, ability or ethnicity. We uphold and teach pupils about British Values and have a broadly Christian ethos, with regular visits from the Harnham Churches Association.
This week
Report
Every two weeks we have a book and word of which we focus on. We explore the book a lot and use the word as much as we can so all children are exposed to it and hopefully learn to use it themselves in the correct context. For some children it will be the first time they have heard the word and for others it will be about solidifying their knowledge of the word.

We encourage you to explore these words and books with your child at home, if you would like any advise on this, please do get in touch and we will be more than happy to share some ideas with you.
Opening Times and Fees

Our fees are set at 5.75 per hour and this is reviewed annually in line with our fees policy. Some families are eligible to receive 30 hours funding, eligibility is mainly based on working hours and income. All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours' funding through the government's Nursery Education Grant.
