Established in 1972, Mawdesley Village Hall was built through community fundraising to serve residents of Mawdesley and surrounding areas. Administered by a volunteer-led Management Committee comprising elected members and local organisation representatives, the hall has expanded with additional facilities including a Small Hall, Bar Lounge, and modern kitchen. As a registered charity (No. 521251), we prioritise community needs while maintaining high standards through continuous development. Our versatile venue hosts weddings, anniversaries, christenings, charity events, concerts, and community meetings, supported by a fully equipped IT suite for training days and conferences.Centrally located between Ormskirk, Chorley, and Leyland, we serve nearby villages including Eccleston, Parbold, and Croston. Our dedicated team ensures seamless event execution, offering professional support from setup to cleanup. Its beautiful, clean, plenty of car park and easy to find. Closer to the shops and petrol services . The area is so quiet.

The venue has recently been refurbished and is lovely with a wonderful outdoor area. Katharine the organiser was extremely friendly and efficient. Her communication was outstanding. The bar staff were also very friendly on the day of the event. We would happily book this for another special occasion. Thanks for helping make our Christening special!

Beautiful venue for a special celebration, this is no ordinary village hall! A great location, with private rear garden which our guests enjoyed. Friendly organised staff, huge car park and fabulous new bar and toilet facilities.

Had mums 60th Birthday at Mawdesley Village Hall, it was beautiful. Would highly recommend it is a beautiful venue for a small wedding , christening or birthday celebration.

This is an amazing venue. It is so versatile and could suit many purposes. It seems that in the design they have thought of everything. The kitchen is fantastic, there is an abundance of toilets and the outside spaces are spectacular. On top of that the ease, friendliness and flexibility of the people managing it made the the whole experience a pleasure.
