Robert Quinn Funeral Directors
When you choose a funeral director and go through all that's involved in arranging a funeral you are allowing us into your lives at an incredibly emotional time. We feel it's only right that you should know a little about us too. We are Robert and Karen Quinn, a brother and sister who are Wirral born and bred - we both love our Peninsula and are so glad we found a place in it's heart where we could start the next chapter of our own journey.

We are by no means new to the profession. We were raised by parents who successfully began and grew their own independent funeral business. They both set a wonderful example instilling in us a strong moral compass to treat people as you wish to be treated; both in business and in life.
Services
Accessibility
Report
When we built our premises we did so with all our clients in mind. We are fortunate to be able to offer private parking outside our door and have a wide electric front door. Our whole building is on one level and is wheelchair friendly. To complete our service we can now offer our own purpose built, wheelchair access vehicle, which integrates seamlessly with our hearse and limousines.
Where to start
Report
When a friend or family member passes away at home, be it their own or a relative's, telephone the person's GP and inform them of the death. One of the practice doctors will then visit to confirm that the person has died. If the call is made out of practice hours an on call doctor will make this visit (please be advised this can take some time).
Funeral Plans
Report
You literally pay in advance for your funeral and fix the cost at the current price. The Funeral Directors' service costs are then guaranteed when you die. Costs outside our control, such as cremation fees or someone to lead the service, can be included in the plan. Although these are not fully guaranteed, the growth of the plan will cover these in the majority of cases.
Pre-Paid Funeral Plans
Report
We have surely all seen the plethora of adverts from funeral insurance companies attempting to scare us into submission with figures of 8,000 for a funeral! The cost of a funeral is no small sum, on average 3,400 but as with all things this depends upon the choices made and this sum can go up or down.

Report
We feel it is incredibly important to be transparent about the charges involved in arranging a funeral with us and appreciate that not everyone has the time available or feels comfortable with telephoning or visiting all the funeral companies they want to approach when obtaining prices for their services.
