Denhams is a family run auction house specialising in fine art and antiques based in Horsham, West Sussex. We hold two public auctions fortnightly, one for Fine Art and Antiques and the other for Vintage items and Interiors. Amongst the antiques we regularly sell include Paintings, Carpets, Furniture, Ceramics, Silverware, Toys, Stamps, Jewellery, Clocks, Watches and any other collectables we are presented with.

If you are considering selling your items and are curious as to their values, then we offer a free pre-sale valuation service, either in your home for furniture or large collections, or at the auction rooms. If you wish to bring your items to the auction rooms for a valuation, please phone us beforehand to check that our valuer will be available to see you.
Buying at auction

Buying at auction is easy! Auctions are held every two weeks on a Wednesday, you can come and view the auction on the Saturday, Monday and Tuesday before. The auction catalogue is available in print and online a week before the auction. Auctions start at 10am and finish around 4:30pm ( 2:30pm for a Vintage & Interiors auction ).

Your antiques will be professionally valued and catalogued by our two valuers - who have over 50 years combined experience.

To set a bid visit your lot basket click the absentee bids tab and select a bid from the drop down list next to the lot. You cannot send bids unless we have your full address, you can update it on the my details page. Please note that in placing absentee bids, you are entering a legally binding bid on the items you indicate.
International

We will accept bids from international buyers who cannot attend our sales provided they have met our security criteria. If you wish to place bids please read our Terms and Conditions and then contact us by phone. We would recommend using the SwiftAir service provided by Royal Mail. We will securely package your items and arrange their collection and delivery for you.
