We provide luxurious rooms and self-catering cottages across 32 acres of Durham countryside. Options include the Red Row Retreat (sleeps 10), Old Red Row Rooms, and Huckleberry Cottage. Lovely from start to finish we took my wifes son and girlfreind on the sunday saver we had a lovely 2 course lunch then were upgraded to 2 beautifull rooms all staff were lovely breakfast was lovely aswell defo go again thankyou blackhorse beamish for a lovely stay x joanne gill and family

We visited with friends for the New Year's Eve party and we also booked a room for the night. I cannot fault a single thing. Around midday I got a call advising our room was ready if we would like to go and check in early. Unfortunately we had other plans but when we did arrive just after 4 we were shown to a spectacular room with a 4 poster bed and a huge copper bath. The party itself was in the Marquee. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and there was background music playing throughout the food service followed by a disco until about 1pm. Breakfast in the morning

Absolutely fantastic weekend at the Black Horse here for our daughter's wedding, everything went without a hitch, the actual ceremony was beautiful the wedding afternoon tea delightful (no butter for cheese scones had to ask Paul) the photographer was unobtrusive taking load's of photos without being in people's faces and the evening DJ played some banging tunes which suited the oldies, the evening buffet was also well received. Overall a wonderful day/evening and I believe everyone enjoyed them selves.

Lovely setting, very spacious and interior design was superb. New menu very different to the traditional pub type but very authentic and of a high quality. Staff very helpful, friendly and professional.

When we got there, the place was busy with a big wedding reception but despite this, we were served quickly by the staff. Our Sunday roasts were excellent. Never had to eat another thing all day!

One of the best Sunday dinners I've had in a while. Such lovely staff to especially the American lady on the bar. Gf options available to. Absolutely perfect!
