We arrived around 6pm on Monday 3rd Jan to find that food had finished being served at 5pm (It was a bank holiday). On hearing us ask about food. the chef, who was at the bar and about to go home very kindly offered to stay on and get us a meal. It was wonderful, venison pie and vegetables,
a lovely meal and we were so grateful to him. We didn't see him to thank him but if he's reading this, THANKYOU SO MUCH
The Abbey Hotel is so warm and cosy and very welcoming.

It's a lovely hotel in a great position. Only downside is that the room was a tad small . Fabulous breakfast

Amazing service, fantastic cleanliness and great food at this dog-friendly hotel. Visited Battle with the dog and was impressed with the really clean rooms, friendly bar team and fantastic menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Really friendly vibe from the entire team and great welcome from the manager Molly. Will be staying here again.

I came here with my fianc and two boys as a spur of the moment decision on a Sunday for a roast and it absolutely did not disappoint. The roast was one of the best meals I have had in a long time and the staff (especially Charlie) were exceptional. Will definitely be back again!
