Physiotherapy
Report
Physiotherapy is a clinical treatment which assists people in recovering from an injury, condition or illness in regaining movement, mobility and wellbeing through manual therapy and prescribed exercises. Physiotherapy places the individual at the centre of their own recovery programme and works to aid and enhance recovery and rehabilitation by improving the individual's overall fitness and lifestyle.
Rehabilitation
Report
At Back in Motion we believe that rehabilitation plays a central part in the recovery from almost all injuries. It is often frustrating when we hear people tell us that they have had treatment before but that after a period of being pain free the problem has returned. To achieve this not only do we have state of the art rehabilitation facilities in all of our clinics but we also employ specific rehabilitation specialists to aid in your recovery.
Acupuncture
Report
Medical research has proven the effectiveness of acupuncture for its remedial effects in treating certain musculoskeletal conditions. As we believe in an integrated approach to client care, our physiotherapists are qualified in acupuncture treatment. We offer acupuncture in Norwich based clinics, to aid your recovery where it is deemed appropriate.
Massage
Report
Sports massage is a deep, rigorous soft tissue massage designed to help active individuals and sports people relieve deep muscle tension and stiffness. This is our firmest massage and suitable for anyone who prefers a deep tissue massage for stress, muscle aches or performance. Our relaxation massage is a more gentle form of massage that is still aimed to reduce stress and tension but with less pressure applied during the massage.
Pilates
Report
Clinical Pilates has been developed by physiotherapists to extend the benefits of traditional Pilates to those who need more instruction and observation by those specially trained in the science of musculoskeletal movement. Our Norwich Pilates Studio's use mat and equipment based exercises which strengthen the central core by using small movements in a controlled approach.
