I initially qualified as a Beauty Therapist in 1998, working in a Salon for a couple of years. Life then took me on a different career path, but after having my two beautiful children, I decided to follow my heart and pursue a career back where I started - in beauty therapy. I set up a successful business from home, which then led me to Prescents Beauty Salon.
I have continued to progress my aesthetic and beauty training to be a Level 4 Skin, laser and light therapist. The Prescents Salon has become a vibrant and professional Salon within Hythe and surrounding areas, priding itself on a first class Salon for treatments and therapies. Mid life saw a massive change for me, after 20 years in local government I re-trained in beauty and holistic therapies.

Light is selectively absorbed by melanin, the pigment in the hair follicle. The light energy heats the pigment and effectively destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding cells. The applicator is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released, which targets many follicles simultaneously.
