Gemma and her team were really excellent at a time when I had just experienced a most traumatic and sudden loss. I was going through an exceptionally difficult time during Covid restrictions. Having never been in the position to have to organise a funeral I was thrown in at the deep end and having called around a few places I found AJ Brooke to be the most compassionate, professional and helpful.
They assisted me in navigating my way. It is difficult to recommend a funeral director as no one ever likes to deal with such matters but if you are ever placed in a situation where you need a funeral

From the moment we walked in the door and was greeted by Liz who shortly passed me over to Gemma I felt welcomed and consoled after the loss of my mother. Gemma was incredible from the start and helped us through the process and gave me information and her number before I had even confirmed we were going to use them! I message Gemma and Liz regularly until the day of the funeral and always got a quick detailed response. I couldn't fault AJ Brooke, they were so professional and respectful on the day, including all of the staff they use for drivers etc. Mum was well looked after and I honestly couldn

Gemma and her team was absolutely amazing . My partner and i lost our baby girl a couple of weeks ago and we met with Gemma and instantly knew our little girl was in safe hands . Gemma showed so much care and respect for us all at this sad time and we honestly cant thank her enough . Would highly recommend A J Brooke !!!

Several weeks have passed since I lost my mother, and Gemma and her staff were outstanding and so respectful from start to finish . Firstly the communication at the start regarding all the arrangements offering her help and advice was amazing. On the funeral I could not have wished for anymore for my mother. Not only was everything planned , Gemma and staff were dressed immaculate in full funeral attire and whilst Ive attended many funerals in the past , This lady outshone any Ive been to. At what was a very difficult time, Gemma was a pleasure to meet with and instantly lifted a weight off of our shoulders. She was warm & friendly and helped us to plan a beautiful service for our Dad that met his and our requirements. Nothing was too much trouble for Gemma- even answering late night questions on WhatsApp! On the day, Gemma and the pull-bearers were smart and professional and she ensured the day went smoothly.
