As an Independent Funeral Director we believe in transparency of our costs with no hidden fees, we will work to your needs and provide an affordable, respectful service. We ask that disbursements are paid before the day of the funeral and we allow a 14 day invoice period following the funeral. Arranging & administration of the funeral; advice & guidance on registration & completion of statutory documents.

Morse Funeral Services are pleased to be able to assist clients who may be struggling to cover the cost of a loved one's funeral by working in partnership with a specialist company called Funeral Safe Ltd who provide low cost finance specifically for funeral related services. Regardless of overall cost, some families simply don't have the available funds to cover funeral expenses at the time of need, Funeral Safe are able to assist you.
When Someone Dies

When someone dies at home you will need to contact their registered GP who will confirm the death and will issue the Cause of Death Certificate, this paperwork will be needed to register the death. If someone has died in hospital you will receive the Cause of Death Certificate from patient affairs or the bereavement office.
