Inspire Day Nursery

Inspire Day Nursery offers an all-inclusive service providing nappies, wipes, meals, formula milk and will even wash your child's clothes so at the end of a long day at work or study it is one less thing for you to worry about. The nursery is set in a large and spacious building decorated and furnished to the highest possible specifications and just a short walk away from Croydon town centre and West Croydon transport links.

The room leaders are qualified to level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development and have experience of working with our youngest of children. The second staff member is qualified to level 2 in Children's Care Learning and Development and is working towards her level 3 in childcare. The third member of staff is an apprentice working towards her qualifications and gaining practical experience while working and learning.

Rabbits and Badgers Rooms each cater for 12 children between the ages of 18 months - 2 years with four members of staff. We maintain two ratio's in this room. 1 adult to 3 children for those under 2 years and 1 adult to 4 children for those aged 2years.

One of our Deputy Managers is based in Rabbit room and both her and the room leader of Badgers are fully qualified to level 3 in childcare and have extensive experience of working with this age group.The other staff are a mixture of qualified and trainee staff all with experience of working with children of all ages but particularly the toddler age group.

We maintain a ratio 1 adult to 8 children on a daily basis however the room is over seen by the nursery director who is accredited with Early Years Professional Status and works in addition to the ratio and with the team to deliver the highest quality education and care that allows children to exceed the academic level as prescribed by the curriculum.

Food and mealtimes are an important part of nursery life. We are keen to give children a balanced diet and to encourage them to see eating as sociable, healthy and fun. Our Catering Manager ensures all of the meals served are homemade using fresh ingredients and designed to meet the needs of growing bodies and minds.
