We had a very lovely time in Suite 9 where we stayed for two nights enjoying dinner and breakfast also. Firstly the staff here couldnt have been warmer or more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate breakfast both mornings in our suite - the full English was delicious using fine local ingredients. Dinner in the main restaurant was very good with a generous wine menu with knowledgeable bar staff happy to ensure a well chilled white and an aerated red. We enjoyed a tour of the famous wine cellar on our second night - fascinating. I can highly recommend the beef from the menu, well worth

The best hotel I've stayed at in the UK by far. Spa treatments were amazing, relaxing in the hot tub with the log burner was just a fantastic way to end the day. I'll be back soon.
