Our On-site Lab will prepare your new glasses to the Highest Standard and we also offer a one hour service (subject to your lens requirements).

Prospecs Eyewear was established in 1992 by Teresa and Mike Keily. For 25 years Prospecs was located on an industrial estate in Rothley where customers returned to us year after year for our expert knowledge of lenses and great customer service. During this time Mike & Teresa also ran a successful optical lab supplying opticians all over the country.
Eye Tests

Certain groups of people such as children and over 60's are eligible for a NHS funded eye test. If you work with computers your employer should pay for you to have an eye test once a year. The NHS recommends that you should get your eyes tested at least once every two years and more often if advised by your ophthalmic practitioner or optometrist.

Stepper have always produced frames where the emphasis has been on comfort. Stepper created the 'design from the bridge' concept almost forty years ago to improve the fit and comfort of spectacles. All Silhouette frames are hand made in Austria and come with a 3 year manufacturers guarantee. Silhouette is well known for their quality rimless frames. This is our most premium range and we have one of the largest selections in the region.
