Gordon Vets is a long established (1834) veterinary practice. Our Edinburgh and Lothians vet practices are based in Musselburgh, Bonnyrigg and Penicuik. We know how much you love your pets and we are dedicated to looking after their health and care when your pets are unwell. We enjoy getting to know you and your pets and provide a friendly and caring service ensuring your pets receive the best healthcare possible at all times.
We are fortunate to have a very loyal and happy team of staff who treat the animals under their care as if they were their own. Assisting the vets are our fully qualified and registered veterinary nurses and some trainee nurses. We aim to ensure that whatever the reason may be, you and your pet's visit to our surgeries will be as stress free and as pleasant as possible.

Gordon Vets' extensive range of vet services enable us to keep your pets in good health and treat them if they become unwell or are injured. Our friendly Lothian vets services are provided to customers in East and South Edinburgh area by our local vet practices in Musselburgh, Bonnyrigg and Penicuik.
Emergencies

Should you require immediate veterinary attention outside our normal opening hours please phone:. Please note this is an emergency service only and routine enquiries can be dealt with normal surgery hours. Our out of hours emergency service is provided by our own vets at the Musselburgh clinic until 11:00pm.

If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). Please note the processing of direct claims is discretionary and based on the relationship between the insurer and the clinic.
