The bathroom stank of dirty water, the headboard was absolutely caked in dust as were various other surfaces, the room is decorated miserably in woodchip and cheap lime green and there was no welcome from the owner, using the usual excuse, which is frankly a long-redundant reason to expect paying guests to check themselves in. 55 is far too much for this tiny, smelly, dusty room.

As a single female traveller, this was awful! I had to park in another road in the rain. The room was very small, but did have an en suite shower. The horrible thing was that
the bedding and a towel stank of Nicotine. It also looked like someone had slept in the bed also? The owner said he could not smell it, but it made me feel ill. He wasn't very sympathetic , but offered a replacement duvet. I asked for pillows too. Unfortunately the lower bed sheet also stank, ,so I slept on top of the duvet in my clothes, covered with my Parka and the window open! He basically said 'what do you expect for

I had a lovely stay, the hosts are lovely and great cooked breakfasts. I had a really good sized room. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable, I had a great night's sleep every night. WiFi is good too. I will be staying again soon.

I had a wonderful stay, home away from home. Very spacious room at the front of the property. They were very welcoming, attentive to any needs and offered a wide range in hot breakfast and very yummy quality. They are coping well with the Covid restrictions, breakfast brought to the room and wearing masks etc. Fully recommend staying here.

Pleasant B&B Guest house competivally priced with friendly staff who are more than willing to make your stay enjoyable. Quite location with on street parking available directly outside.
Rooms are clean and have all the amenities required; most important of all a very comfortable double bed. Iron available on request should you need it. As mentioned on other reviews, a cracking breakfast serving ideal for waking you up and setting you up for your days activities. I thoroughly recommend this establishment, and would be my first port of call if I need another room when in the area.
