The first impression was that this hotel does need some updating. Room is nothing special. A bit dated, but clean. But the receptionist was very nice and friendly. And to me, if the people are nice, then the other little things are not so important.

Very pleasant hotel. Dog friendly and with an EV charger available. Easy walk to the beach. Full English was a bit small, but OK.
Pity they didn't say that the restaurant was not available for non residents at the time of booking because we'd wanted to invite our son to join us for dinner.

OMG. Only booked this hotel because it allows dogs but we won the lottery. What stands out is how exceptionally clean it is. It is old school but quality. We had a large balcony with a sea view. We were 5 minutes walk to the beach and Tropical gardens and in a quiet residential road. We didn't use half of the facilities because of commitments visiting our daughter at uni bit we are making a point of returning so that we can. What a find!

We loved it here last year but if this had been the first time we had visited, I don't think we would come back. Only good thing was the reception staff were lovely. The room (116) was far too warm, even with the window open and the fan on. It was also far too small to be a twin. You couldn't open a wardrobe door fully due to the bed, you couldn't use the desk (put your legs under it) because of the other bed. If one person wanted to get ready the other had to sit on the bed so the person getting ready could move around the room. The bed by the window was extremely soft and moved about a lot

Wonderful hotel, great service from all staff. Decor looking a little tired, but lovely large room, comfy bed and balcony with sea view. Great breakfast, but restaurant food was uninspiring and not that great. Just 10 minutes walk from the beach. We'd definitely stay again.

It's average at best! +1300 for a week for two adults , booked via booking.com the rating of 8.3 out of 10 in my opinion is very generous!!! We were not informed that we would be staying in the apartments until we had signed the paper work and parted with the 1300 quid
The apartments are honestly somewhere to put your head for the night they do not come with room service as standard, when the rest of the hotel does!!!,
if you want fresh towels.or bedding even toilet roll you have to call reception a little bit "morning campers!" We are talking 6 apartments when the rest of a 100 room + hotel
