Due to covid and health issues, the Rochford Hotel kindly allowed me to postpone our wedding and let us carry it over to another day. Jane the wedding organiser was absolutely amazing, Anthony on reception was excellent, along with every member of staff there. The general manager was so understanding with everything. I wish I could give more than 5*

My husband and I got married at the Rochford hotel on 7/11/21 and it was the most magical day and experience. From the moment of booking until after we got married the staff and wedding Co-ordinator could not have been more helpful, every question we had was answered no matter how tiny. We were talked through every stage of the planning and the advice and ideas suggested by Jane were so informative and useful in making sure we had the best day. We were able to bring in our decorations before the wedding and talk through the last minute details a few days before which greatly helped with my nerves

Staff where amazing beautiful place. There was a bald bloke on reception that was dead helpful he showed me where the barbers was and nearly walked me half way every hotel needs someone like him and the lass on Nightshift was really helpful too.

I had a lovely reception the other night however was a bit disappointed with the level of service as the food was taken away at 9:30pm just as everyone was getting a bit hungry, when ask if we could have the sandwiches back out we was told they were all gone however we saw them take them away. Furthermore we then told them we saw them take them away and then was told they were thrown away The amount of money that was spent on food for it to be taken away and then just to be supposedly chucked was a joke. The next day at breakfast wasnt much better as dead on 9:30am I asked for one more

Had a fantastic short stay at this Hotel for a couple of days while visiting Southend on Sea. All of the staff we encountered were extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend it !!! Also a special mention to Anthony for assisting in the recovery of an item I left in our room :-)
