Fab stay, hosts very welcoming and friendly. The veggies breakfast was amazing, even had veggie black pudding!

A little late writing this one (august stay). The interior is dated and worn in places, BUT clean ! I had to wait quite a while for host to show up - i think this was more about covid protocols and not their normal way of doing business. but be aware - they are not always onsite. Basic hot pot with coffee and tea options. Room was small size, bed ok. Old furniture but everything was very clean and well maintained. I reserved ensuite but room wasn't working or something, so bathroom for room i was given was down the hall at the opposite end of room. Breakfast was a 'challenge". on site restaurant

I stayed here overnight before taking the ferry back to the mainland. I have to say that I was really quite disappointed, particularly given the prices that are charged. The two stars are for the fact that I was allowed to check in earlier to leave my luggage, the guest house is in a good location (close to centre of town and next to ferry terminal) and the owners were friendly.
However, as a solo traveller I was boxed away in a very small bedroom under the stairs in room 3. I barely had room to put my luggage on the floor, the window wouldnt shut properly so it was very noisy due to the traffic
