Day Nursery
Our day nursery provides full-time and part-time care for children aged 0-5 years. We offer a structured yet flexible environment combining child-led play with guided learning activities. Our Ofsted-registered facility operates 51 weeks annually with qualified staff maintaining low child-to-carer ratios throughout all rooms.
Early Years Education
Delivered through the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, our education programme covers personal development, communication skills, and creative learning. We use both indoor and outdoor spaces to develop literacy, mathematics, and environmental understanding through play-based activities tailored to individual learning styles.
Settling-in Support
We provide a personalised settling-in process with up to two weeks of free adjustment time. Parents participate in initial sessions with their child while our key persons establish trust and routine familiarity. This gradual approach helps children adapt comfortably to new environments and caregivers.
Key Person System
Each child is assigned a dedicated key person who monitors their development, creates individual learning plans, and maintains regular communication with parents. Do you offer funded childcare places?
Yes, we provide free funded places for all 3 and 4-year-olds, offering 15 hours weekly over 38 weeks as part of the Government's Early Years entitlement.
What is your settling-in process?
We offer up to two weeks free settling-in period with flexible sessions. Parents attend a minimum of two sessions to ensure smooth transition with their child's key person.
How do you communicate children's progress?
Each child has a Learning Journey folder updated regularly. We conduct termly progress reviews and maintain daily communication through diaries and informal discussions.
What facilities do you provide?
Our nursery features four dedicated rooms (Hedgehog, Squirrel, Badger, Wise Owls) with direct garden access, ICT equipment, and an extensive outdoor play area with vegetable patch.
How are meals handled?
We provide home-cooked meals with three formal mealtimes. Dietary requirements are accommodated, and lunch is charged at a daily rate. Babies require parents to supply milk and nappies.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, they've helped my son come along so well he was barely speaking because of covid and he could interact with people. Now his saying more and starting to make friends and is happy at nursery.

Lovely independent nursery/preschool. My boy has been there since 6 months old. Wonderful manager and fabulous staff. Very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Recommend to all.
