We aim to provide a firm foundation for each child in order for them to become a unique, independent, competent and confident learner to help each child the opportunity for a secure future. We believe every child deserves the best possible start in life with the support that enables them to fulfil their potential.

Little Robins believes that a well trained and qualified workforce is key to providing quality care and learning opportunities for children and to support our childcare and education philosophy. We expect, encourage and support all our staff to continue their own learning and development and ensure staff have in-depth knowledge and understanding gained through continuing professional development and higher level qualifications.
Learning and Play

Children learn individually and with others through play. We offer our children a play-based curriculum which meets all the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. Our curriculum supports all aspects of their learning and development and encourages children's in-inbuilt curiosity and desire to make sense of the world around them and helps them to discover that learning is interesting and fun.
Nursery Environment

Our nursery environments and resources help our children to develop in all areas of learning. We carefully choose our play equipment to stimulate a child's natural curiosity, exploration, play and imagination. We use Treasure basket play that allows Babies and Toddlers to investigate and explore a variety of everyday objects.
Key Person
Report
Research shows that a Key Person approach helps children develop a strong relationship with a significant adult when they are at nursery and to ensure every child feels secure and cared for, safe and confident. The Key Person is responsible for the needs of each child in their care and will offer security, reassurance and continuity throughout the day.
