Tarantella is an elegant restaurant serving fresh, modern Italian-style cuisine with Italian beer on tap, cocktails and a wide range of quality wines. We are open Wednesday - Saturday: 4pm - 9pm and are happy to cater for vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary requirements. Visited midweek without a reservation but we were quickly offered a table, even though the restaurant was quite busy.
The service was attentive, friendly and efficient and the food (Calzone with spicy sausage and goat's cheese and smoked haddock risotto) was delicious and certainly a notch above your average Italian eatery. As were the prices, but we'll worth it for the quality on offer.

Cockermouth is an ancient market town and civil parish in the Borough of Allerdale in Cumbria, England, and is so named because it is at the confluence of the River Cocker as it flows into the River Derwent. The mid-2010 census estimates state that Cockermouth has a population of 8,204, increasing to 8,761 at the 2011 Census.
