Very old world but cosy and comfortable. Mom and I had coffee which was lovely and a kind lady behind the bar gave us dog biscuits for our hounds

Had a comfortable 2 night stay for a reasonable price. It is a little old fashioned with creaky floors which gives it character. Wood panelled bar area is cosy. No real ale when I was there despite 2 handpumps but lots of pubs very close by to water at. Just across the river from the high town tourist honeypot.
