Absolutely fantastic anniversary meal at the Moat House, which is also where we got married. We had the Christmas menu and the turkey dinner was absolutely delicious. We were even surprised with some delicious treats afterwards. The staff were all so lovely, helpful and attentive. Thank you so much for making our wedding anniversary so special.

Excellent meal, not cheap as it has a 2 star Michelin rating. Staff was pleasant all be it slow for ordering everything. how the kitchen could be behind on an order of seasonal veg when everything else was ready is just poor management, not enough people, ??? Wrong management style ??? Place is beautiful though.

We got married at the Moat House in August and from start to finish the experience was excellent! We had to postpone twice due to Covid and they were so accommodating and made the process a lot less stressful than it could have been. On the day of the wedding they did everything to ensure that our day ran smoothly and couldn't have been more helpful or efficient. They dressed the room exactly as I wanted it and the food they provided was exceptional. What a stunning setting to have our day in. We got married at St James church just opposite and walked back to the Moat House for the rest of our

Popped in on the off chance for lunch with Wife, daughter and our little granddaughter. Staff were very pleasant and obliging. The sandwiches were fantastic and very tasty. I would definitely recommend the hunters chicken and ploughman's.
