Pleasant pub /restaurant in Norfolk. Fare-sized dining area with chairs with arms! Went for Sunday lunch and main meal was excellent, plenty to eat and well prepared. Some veg a little crunchy. Desserts were 7 each and some were a little disappointing others good portions. Coconut and lime creme brulee that I had didn't taste of Coconut ar all and not strong lime. Gravel car park with level entrance and no steps to dining area. Men's toilet although clean was disappointing in that the cubicles were so small you had difficulty closing the door. 3 Urinals had skylight above which is overlooked

A group of us went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The menu was superb and everyone enjoyed their meals. One of us requested a starter served as a main, supplemented with a portion of chips, two others ordered from the 2 or 3 course lunch specials, seafood platters were chosen by 3 others (two taking advantage of the sharing one) and one chose liver and bacon. Nobody had anything negative to say about their choice, although not all of us had room for desserts. The staff were very attentive without being a nuisance. Would we go there again? You bet - there are still more choices on

Beautiful country pub with a handful of rooms. The landlady, Allyson, was friendly and engaging and made us feel really welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and bright. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were all terrific. Would definitely come back again.

Lovely pub garden in which to sit and relax after a long cycle ride around the Wensum valley. Beautifully quiet setting. Service was excellent: friendly, quick and very courteous. BBQ food was perfect for me and pub food great for my friend. Frangipane was out of this world.
